Fix my gun Ottawa Area Gunsmiths 2026?

Good evening,

I recently had an out of battery discharge in my TM22 and I wanna get the barrel inspected before I do anything else with the gun. I tried running a ram rod through it with a brush and it comes to a hard stop, even though the barrel has no visual obstructions (but I can see some sort of deformation in the barrel).

Are there any gunsmiths in the Ottawa area besides the Gun Medic and Gunco? I used to go to That Hunting store but it seems they don’t offer that service anymore.

Jason at gunco is the best gunsmith around.

What's the issue?

He's done plenty of work for me with zero issues (and it wasn't brutally expensive).

No issues with Gunco, i’d just like to see what other options there are.

That's about all you'll get in Ottawa.

You may have some additional options if you're willing to travel further but honestly I'd just take that to Jason.
