Buy recommendations Recommendations on new rifle case locks ( Everyday and Airport )
Had some issues with the locks on my rifle case and wanted to replace them. I was hoping for some recommendations on something that could be used for everyday ease and airport. Thanks for any help in advance.

I use high security Abus and Assa Abloy padlocks which my local locksmith has keyed.
You can get two packs keyed alike Abus padlocks on Amazon.
Combination padlocks can be attacked with a shim between the wheels, they are a convenience lock not a secure lock. There's video's a plenty showing it done on Youtube.
If its about losing your keys, vs losing your guns: I would rather lose a key when travelling knowing I have a spare at home AND my locksmith has the bitting recorded (so I could get a new key cut locally if travelling), than lose my guns because someone cracked the combination with minimal effort.
Another angle:
Pay for $$$ for a nice gun, nice enough that you want to travel with it. Pay $$$ to put high quality glass on it, and other accessories. Pay $$$ to put it in a nice rugged case that will protect it and survive heavy handling during transit.
Why protect it with the cheapest (and unsecure) lock possible?
