Feets / Collection / My build Picked up a TM22 Pro 12"
Decided to do some retail therapy today and grabbed a black Derya TM22 Pro with the 12" barrel. She's beautiful 🥹 Doesn't come with any sights, so I wanna throw a red dot on it. Any suggestions for a budget red dot? Don't wanna go too crazy since it's just a 22.

I have bought several red dots off Amazon for my 22s that have been cheap and work wonderfully! The feyachi brand is particularly good quality for the low cost!

I was reading that Feyachi is pretty good! Which particular one do you have?

Bud the v30 is their cheaper clone of the regular t2 style dot its prob your best bet. If you want to spend a bit more though you can get the ARO for like 200$ on srstactical. 10% off if you’re mil/LEO

I got the CVLife Red Dot/Magnifier for $150 CAD and it works brilliantly on my TM22

How do you like the magnifier? Is it enough zoom for decent precision @ 100m ? I thought about grabbing a magnifier to put behind my red dot to see target better

I guess it depends on the shooter. The magnifier is only 3x so it's great at 50m but I am not that precise at 100m. Somebody else might be though

Might still be helpful in my situation, I’m zeroed for 50-75M but at 100 I have to aim like 4-6” higher to hit where I want I think some zoom would be great and can still flip to side to use pure red dot instead of being stuck with a 3x prism or something

I've been looking at these! Curious question, do you know if there are mlock slots on the top of the handguard? I was thinking you could attach a rail on the top, and then put a pic rail iron sight on it.
As far as cheap red dots, I've been using a cheap Romeo 5 Clone from China on my CZ Trail. Cost like 80 bucks, and survives the 7.62 x39 recoil fine, so for a 22lr it would be overkill

Is this an actual magazine or just a 3D printed cover? Looks way better than the 25 round banana.

It’s a 15 round printed mag found on cults3d the designer had them in 10 15 and 25 yeah they look way better than the bananas

Vortex Triumph or a Bushnell TRS-25 is a winning solution. If you go TRS, you may want to buy an adjustable picatinny riser off of Amazon. Before I threw my PCC optics on my TM-22, I found the TRS was a bit low so the riser helped a lot.

Do you ever get flickering issues with your trs25? My red dot will suddenly disappear and then only work on certain numbers

u/kammerlader Aug 05 '26
Nope, never. I even bought it used. I always kept it on the lower numbers for indoor use and cranked the sucker to 11 during full summer sun. Worked on every setting!
