If you're going all the way down to the States I would personally rather a Sage EBR Chasis. They make them for the SKS, Ruger Mini, Springfield M1A even the Garand.

I got lazy at that point and sniped an sks D for 1400 I grabbed. A lot easier !

It’s the ATI version but very similar. Definitely more weight at the back now with the rail mount and scope! Bipod helps at the front to balance
