Gun and gear reviews Benelli M4 AI Drone
Wondering about your opinions on this limited edition!
Also, does anyone know if the choke is interchangeable?

The choke is removable, but additional ones are hard to come by in canada. It uses their new "advanced impact" chokes, which are much longer than their mobil or crio chokes.
The handguard has m-lock slots, while the one on the t-pro does not. The handguard is sweet, and allows absolute co-witness with the optic and irons. It feels solid and is more comfortable than i expected it to be.
The included optic is also very nice, and is so far available only in this package as far as I know. It is different than the normal mps, with less brightness settings and knob instead of buttons for use with gloves hands. The reticle is unique, more or less a circle dot.
Personally, I really like the drone guardian a lot. The only issue I have is with the A.I branding, which is a big turn off for me. I feel compared to the t-pro its actually pretty good value, once you take into account the optic and handguard.
The advanced impact barrel is nice to have i suppose, but I'm not sure that it really patterns better than their standard barrel. From the tests I've seen down range energy is slightly better, but their claims are at best situational and at worst completely detached from reality. You aren't going to get 60% more energy as they claim, but maybe 2-5% due to less pellet deformation with certain loads.

Had the guy in store break down the differences for me, if you're into duck hunting seems like a fun bit of gear otherwise I dont think its worth the cost

Handguard is slightly different too but it doesn’t bother me… I use the savings towards a viper shotgun reddot and some ammos

Wonder why wouldn't they (Benelli) just make a longer barrel for the m4 and sell that. I'd love a longer barrel... for upland hunting lol.

I want to know if the longer version is available anywhere in Canada. I saw a video on it on the Royal Armouries YouTube channel. A 26" (?) barrel seems far more effective vs the 18.5" ones I've seen in Canada.
