Gun and gear reviews Great day for the pits

Post image

Got out to the pits again, I have to say that so far, im very impressed with the homesteader. Using a mix of on sale 9mm from basspro but mainly pmc bronze 115 and 124 grain. Using oem glock mags.

Im a little over 1k rounds and not a single fail to feed, fail to fire or extract. Its been a solid 9.5/10 experience so far.

Only issue over had is a small set screw for holding the rear peep hole sight fell out, Henry shipped me a new one within 3 hours of emailing them. No cost and expedited shipping.

Add in the Neuman metalworks handguard that I tossed on last night, and its a blast. If you're on the fence about getting one, get it. Its a ton of fun to shoot.

Right on welcome to the Henry family I’ve got 2 so far still need a big boy space cowboy lol I also have a MRA renegade but it’s really picky with ammo, I built mine myself so maybe I did something wrong but I get light strikes, half the ammo doesn’t fire. Might be the fact it’s Barnaul though

The supreme is on my list for lever actions. Love how some poeple dress them up.

Cant say ive ever had any light strike issues with mine. And ive run a lot of random stuff from GP through it. Never tried Barnaul yet though.
