That’s a discontinued Matador Sabertooth Stock which True North was able to acquire somehow. I was about to buy one but there are issues with fit and finish if you’re a perfectionist.

There is also the Crooked Customs Phantom stock which was just released, made in Canada, and pretty decent, 8/10ish, but needs about another $200 in parts to finish (AR end plate, buffer tube, stock, and AR grip).

I just bought one of these sks chassis and theyre pretty nice. Def make the sks look and feel much more modern. Heavy though lol

Got a couple questions if ya dont mind…

Can’t figure out how that rear half circle insert behind the dust cover is supposed to attach? How did you attach it?

Also, my gas tube is a little loose in the receiver without the ferrule that holds the old wooden gas tube cover, probably going to shim it. Don’t think I want to run it like that. Is yours like that too?

Yes, it rattles around. There’s like 1 or 2 mm of play

Who is Rob lol? What’d he charge you for the machining and how long was the turnaround? I’m looking to have mine done as well

a guy between Orangeville/ Barrie near Alliston with a bridgeport mill. took about 2-3 days. can give you his contact info if interested
