Feets / Collection / My build AR at home build

Post image

It's a Troy PAR. Its accurate, faster than a bolt action and has AR ergonomics. Was considering Taipan evo but I think this one looks better.

Looks nicely setup!

There’s a new Taipan Evo Scout that North Sylva just dropped that fixes some of the looks the normal Evo had. I had the TaipanX but ended up selling it for a Henry Supreme as that fit my style more

I’m cross shopping between the Troy, the Taipan and the Henry Supreme. Do you have any comments on the Troy VS the Henry Supreme?

I haven’t used the Troy but it has the advantage of a pump lock-up that the Taipan suffers from. A little back pressure on the Taipan pump and it’ll pull itself just enough to not strike the primer.

The Taipan has the advantage of having straight pull and pump. Shooting off a front bag using the straight pull can be an issue with the pump handle needing to cycle.

The Henry is a different vibe and more my thing after buying the S&W 1854.

Thanks for sharing your input.
I hope for a good deal on a Supreme during black friday.
