Buy a farm, live your life, fuck the feds; those Liberal mofos had no problem taxing you when you bought this thing legally and paying themselves with the taxes collected.

You can buy a couple acres for under 50k up north.

To be clear up front, I'm not suggesting anyone break the law. I'm not giving legal advice. But people sleep on areas like mid Manitoba.

If you go south, you've got the large cities. If you go far enough north you start to hit mining operations and stuff. It's still pretty remote, but there's very little in the world as remote as some of that land in between.

It's marshy, shitty, covered in either trees or grass depending on which parts your in. And it's just terrible. It's deceptively dangerous, far from any kind of civilization, even roads for some of it.

I remember an interview with survivorman where he said it was one of the few places he refused to go to for the show.

I strongly suspect the only reason there's not more meth labs and stuff hiding there is that if anything it's too remote. Not ideal if you need to move stuff in and out.

But if you're looking for wilderness, God damn it's there.

Maybe we all should stop paying theft style taxes. For the saftey and well being of our wealth.

2

u/peed_on_ur_poptart Jul 31 '26

Im not saying that "i" do this. But occasionally out in the bush on crown land I find good secluded spots where a person can fire the guns they legally purchased and not be bothered by libtards.

A lot of people don't care and never stopped.

They just went deeper into the woods

33

u/AlmightyJumboTron Jul 30 '26 edited Jul 30 '26

I would NEVER do something like this

27

u/Damiancarmine14 Jul 30 '26

Only Mike from Canmore does this

14

u/pahtee_poopa Jul 30 '26

Everybody has their own risk profile. Some people think their farm/woods are deep enough that no Feds will show up. But if they ever caught you, they must be okay with those consequences.

u/charje Jul 30 '26

I have a full section of land that backs up onto the river, only 1 locked gate to access other than going through my yard which has a lockable gate too, there is a zero percent chance of them coming into my property unless they come by helicopter or river boat, and there are only 4 rcmp for our whole county which is 180km long and about 60km wide

1

u/pahtee_poopa Jul 30 '26

I need more friends like you

3

u/charje Jul 30 '26

You in central east Alberta, I am looking for people to shoot gophers, they are destroying my hayfields/pastures and I can’t seem to keep up with them

2

u/pahtee_poopa Jul 30 '26

Not even close. I’ve accepted the fact that I’m not going rural anytime soon.

1

u/Equal_Blackberry2463 Jul 31 '26

I’m from Calgary, I’d gladly make the drive up if it means we can blast gophers with .22’s, I even got 2-3 friends who would happily make a day out of it

8

u/Vahuo89 Jul 30 '26

neither would i

nor would i ever condone it

But it do be how it is

8

u/Enough_Challenge7264 Jul 30 '26

Why not? It's your gun. As long as you're safe about it, have at it I say.

24

u/stickupmybutter Jul 30 '26

Because publicly admitting doing something that is currently illegal in a public forum is a stupid thing to do.

3

u/Enough_Challenge7264 Jul 30 '26

The clowns that run -everything- can't even organize how to deport illegal aliens...if you think you're some sort of priority, your narcissism is way out of wack.

8

u/stickupmybutter Jul 30 '26

But we are the priority. You know why? Because most of us are compliant, and that makes it easy for them. And they like easy things. Which makes us their priority.

I have no idea narcissism comes into play here. It's basic pattern recognition.

6

u/dgod40 Jul 30 '26

This guy Feds!

2

u/Enough_Challenge7264 Jul 30 '26

...I'll wait. ;)

3

u/DougMacRay617 Jul 30 '26

Then you will forever live with a boot on your neck

5

u/AlmightyJumboTron Jul 30 '26

The shine of your glow is so bright

1

u/DougMacRay617 Jul 30 '26

You must be high on boot polish

0

u/AlmightyJumboTron Jul 30 '26

Admitting to participating in illegal acts on a public forum is one of the stupidest things you could possibly do bud

2

u/DougMacRay617 Jul 31 '26

Yeah so is taking pictures of previously NR rifles. But you checked that box

0

u/AlmightyJumboTron Jul 31 '26

Nothing about that is illegal, and like I said in the post, i sold it before the ban pal

0

u/DougMacRay617 Jul 31 '26

Cool story kid. Nothing i said was illegal. Lay off the boot polish.

10

u/Cope180-Enjoyer Jul 30 '26

Can't follow laws that rapidly change and don't make logical sense. OICs are supposed to be used to ban ray guns, not mechanical devices that have existed for 200 years.

4

u/Enough_Challenge7264 Jul 30 '26

I want a ray gun now. My wife hates you, thanks.

2

u/Vahuo89 Jul 31 '26

Something in the 40 megawatts range?

1

u/meowmixonroids Jul 30 '26

I too would like to procure a ray gun… do we have to swan dive into craters in Peleliu?

1

u/peed_on_ur_poptart Jul 31 '26

Yep. And bump into other folks doing the same thing, nobody says a word.

18

u/rastamasta45 Jul 30 '26

All the damn time, praying for a better government one day

14

u/Rippin_Fat_Farts Jul 30 '26

Canada has a vast wilderness and millions of hectares of crown land.

5

u/AlmightyJumboTron Jul 30 '26

I love this fact, its so useful

13

u/Enough_Challenge7264 Jul 30 '26

Uh, you might want to reword the thread title?

5

u/Jojk55555 Jul 30 '26

No wonder these guns are getting banned if that's what they are shooting

Edit: joking of course

3

u/Sodas_guy Jul 31 '26

I was looking for this comment 😂

11

u/ovjho Jul 30 '26

The whole idea of banning bullpups might actually be the dumbest part of the ban.

We can still buy other rifles that do everything these do, but these are banned because of…the way they are.

1

u/AlmightyJumboTron Jul 30 '26

Yep, it's unfortunate

It’s called regenerativ target practice

3

u/gassy_guy308 Jul 30 '26

Always wanted this ones big brother (rfb instead of rdb) didnt have the means to buy it before the bans sadly

4

u/AlmightyJumboTron Jul 30 '26

I wanted the RFB, but at the time I could only afford the RDB, that plus cheaper to shoot, and feeling an impending doom over these kinds of rifles made me pull the trigger on this one. I do not regret it though, one of my favorite rifles.

3

u/Spyrothedragon9972 Jul 30 '26

I've got mine in Florida.

3

u/Trond18 Jul 30 '26

I shoot mine all the time still. "Sniffs"......it's good to own land.

2

u/apocalypticpops Jul 30 '26

God damn😍

2

u/RydNightwish Jul 30 '26

After so many years, yes but not really. Kind of learned to just do other things

2

u/MOS-0001 Aug 05 '26

With all due respect, fuck the feds and their pathetic OIC to remove guns from law abiding citizens. Go find some land and enjoy your guns.

1

u/Thegiant98 Jul 30 '26

Everyone.

1

u/ekso69 Jul 30 '26

Is the trigger lock in front of the trigger?

5

u/dgod40 Jul 30 '26

Majority of trigger locks go in front of the trigger in the trigger guard. There is no room behind the trigger. There are plastic nubbies the lodge into the trigger guard to stop rearward motion.

2

u/AlmightyJumboTron Jul 30 '26

Won't fit behind

1

u/BCURANIUM Jul 30 '26

I thought about contacting mike from canmore to deal with my guns too.

1

u/ScorpionRox Jul 31 '26

Dude, you guys got to shoot your babies?!?!

I have a brand new Kodiack defence, WK 180-C that NEVER got the chance to be shot.

The "promotion" to prohibited came in 3 days before a group cabin trip where I was gonna get to put the first rounds through it.

1

u/4rotorfury 29d ago

What is due process even?

What in the no context nonsense is this?

7

u/Thegiant98 Jul 30 '26

What was the warrant for?

1

u/AlmightyJumboTron Jul 30 '26

Why'd you get raided? What was the warrant for?
