Misc Federation Arms SPM 12 9”

Post image

You ever buy a gun and then ask yourself why?

In the case of this Federation Arms SPM 12 w/ 9” barrel, sure, I could carry it for hiking. I do live near the north coast of BC and there are mountains and mountain trails everywhere… and lots of bears…. But I restrict my hiking to August and the bears are all down by the river or in lush lowland vegetation.

But I already own a Benelli SuperNova Tactical 12 pump shotgun…

Build quality looks ok although the charging handle is bolted on cheap plastic. Still, not a bad buy for $575 but not great…. But my God that Benelli has shot upped in price since I bought it.

I still haven’t taken it to the range yet…

I have one and it’s pretty fun to shoot as long as you don’t mind getting the shit kicked out of your shoulder.

You can get stock pads at Canadian Tire for cheap. I put one on my SuperNova and it really helped.
