Yes they are very easy can use hand tools only quite effectively if needed, and yeah they use large pistol primers

Brass shotgun shells have always been great!

I love to make them into 577 Snider and 577-450MH.

I hand load blackpowder brass shells to use in my 1897, going to try pheasant hunting with it this year!!
