Another SKS Question

Hey guys,

Sorry if this isn’t allowed, I hardly ever use Reddit so I’m not super familiar with the posting norms or whatever.

I was just curious if anyone knows anything about the possibility of any stores restocking any variant of the SKS, even the ATI stock one.

I know cabelas website had them up until maybe a month ago? I’m curious if they’ll ever restock.

I don’t own an SKS but I own a handful of rifles and shotguns. I’d like an SKS, but I genuinely don’t care that much about the condition or the numbers matching aspect of it, hence why I considered the Cabelas ati stock one.

$3,330 for an SKD is the dumbest and saddest thing I've seen. Instead of scalpers trying to always make a buck of off anything we should all collectively be converting to these bad boys left right and center through our community to promote a resistance movement and show these liberal idiot how ridiculous their gun laws are.

Kinda in this boat, I’ve had my PAL since the day I turned 18, and my minors license before that. I’ve acquired a decent collection; a couple hunting rifles and a few old trap shotguns from my grandpa. Never jumped on the SKS train until maybe last year, and I just can’t justify dropping $700 on one having heard my dads stories about being able to buy a crate of them for a few hundred $ a few years back.

I think we've more than likely reached the end of SKS imports. China very likely has very few left given that we've recieved very late production examples, parade rifles, and other rarer variations like the early blade bayonet models. Sucks to say but I think unless there's some warehouse we don't know about I think the days of big box stores carrying the SKS has pretty much come to an end
