I've heard some bad things about this gun... how are you finding it? I have one on pre-order... I got burned by crusader arms... im proceeding with caution.

Its a long story.

First, they sent me the wrong rifle. I ordered a templar with a 9mm conversion kit. They sent me a crusader 9, with a 556 upper... no bolt for the 556. The 556 upper was also incomplete and would have exploded if I tried to shoot it. It also didnt have the folding ACR stock that came with the templar. It came with a cheap AR stock.. i sent it back to them, they fixed it, included the missing 556 bolt, and sent it back. Yay... but they didnt fix the stock.

They didnt answer emails... they filtered calls.. they completely ignored me. This all took probably 9 months to get this done.

I blocked my number from caller ID and wow!! They answered. I told them about the stock.. they said that it would be another 400 bucks for the stock, plus an adaptor thats needed to attach it. I paid the fking money and they sent me the stock with no adaptor....

So now I have a rifle thats not what I ordered and a garbage stock that I cant attach.

Nice build! I couldn't find it directly on your Instagram page, but saw on a reel you were intending on installing a Triggertech trigger. If that is the case, please let us know how the install goes, and how well it functions. Also, nice stock, did you get that in Canada, or bring it through iRunGuns? Thanks!

Cool, without any difficulty from the brevity of your response. Please give us a before and àfter trigger update ; usually people are a bit more accurate with a lighter trigger pull, and it would be cool to know if this holds true with the Makasi.

You can buy the stocks and have it shipped to your home in Canada from an American site?

As long as it's not a controlled item like a receiver. It is helpful i f the shipping description does not contain the letters "AR'" to avoid customs entanglements.

To my (non professional) knowledge you would have to “declare” them, as in show them what you have and that you have a valid pal. If you don’t they’ll probably throw you in jail and throw the book at you for being such an obvious naughty criminal.
Or they don’t check your bag and you’re good to go. It’s a gamble

So if I declare it will they deny the stock? Should I just say it’s for Airsoft or smt?

Just to add, it's worh your time to not only check the CBSA import regs, but also the American export regs. Don't want to end up with the Yanks asking questions as you leave and them taking issue with undeclared firearms parts

The sight is a red dot with thermal overlay, so you’re looking through a lens with an image projected onto it
