Feets / Collection / My build Seeking opinions from experienced reloaders

Post image

Hey everyone! A couple friends and i are considering getting into reloading so we can shoot more, i’m designing some reloading trays and i’m curious to your opinions on this tray on if there’s anything you’d personally want different that would make staying organized easier in your opinion.

Tray size is 10-1/8” x 8-3/8”

Obligatory feets for scale

Those holes are too far apart. I'm not going to sit and only reload 25 rounds. I typically batch 45-70 by the 50s. Once you get your setup dialed in, reloading is quicker than you think. There's guys pumping out hundreds of 5.56 with single stage benches.

What do you plan to do with all of those pockets? I typically keep my primers and powder in their packages until use.

I love the tray idea, but I think it needs some more R&D. Perhaps build them so they can be attached to the most popular presses?

I use the inserts from 9mm boxes to keep my 223/5.56 organized. I am one of those fools cranking out hundreds at a time on the single stage lol, it’s not bad if you stick to one process at a time.
