Red Dot for SW1854 Stealth Hunter

Hi all, I recently bought my SW1854 Stealth Hunter, chambered in 44 Mag. Absolutely love it.

I’d like to get a red dot for this rifle. Could y’all share some opinions? Thanks a lot.

I actually prefer Holosun HE510C 2 MOA Green Dot Sight Black. Is it a good option?

There’s a cowitness mount out there for the 1854 if that’s your bag too.
Personally I went with an illuminated LPVO for red dot feel on 1x but some reference points zoomed in when lobbing further.

I don’t have much extra range with the 357 model, I just can’t see for shit at a distance

I have a vortex venom 1-6 on mine, I like it. I started with a cheap red dot that I didn’t particularly enjoy.

I mounted it on a set of tall rings with a port I can still use my iron sights through.

If the reciever is drilled and tapped for a rail I almost guarantee the Vortex Venom Shotgun Red Dot Sight will fit and is going to be about the lowest profile you're going to find.

Fit perfectly on my 1854 never had a problem with recoil throwing off zero either.

I’ve got two Bushnell TRS25 mounted, one on a Turkey gun the other on a .22 and for the price point they’re fantastic. Super clear bright and long battery life,

Bushnell is treated as a swear word on here but I’ve had one issue in years and they replaced the scope with one of greater vale with almost no hassle.

I have a primary arms GLX 1x on mine, I like it a lot. It’s a bit chunky but still lighter than an LPVO, and astigmatism sucks so I run prisms.

For shotguns and lever actions I quite like the bushnell rxs 100. You could even go with an Amazon equivalent.
