Just wanted to throw out a quick review on the metal handguard and grip adapter that Neumann Metalworks just put out. Super reasonably priced, came to I think $170 all in with express shipping included. I am putting a picatinny stock on it but just figured I'd snap some photos of it now, as the stock itself arrives in another day or two.

Super solid feel, easy install, and very cheap for what you get. The handguard and grip were combined, half the price of the Midwest Industries handguard alone, which has also been discontinued I believe.

Did not receive any sort of incentive from NM to write this, just doing so because he was great to interact with, has install tutorials too on his site to make it super easy, and was a great price for all aluminum furniture for it. Super nice to have a modern ergonomic PCC setup again.

Photo doesn't have the picatinny stock installed yet as Im still waiting for it to arrive in the mail. Mag in the photo is of course empty, just stuck it in the rifle to complete the look for the photo to show off the furniture.

Very solid kit, good fitment, I love it. It is just a bit over 27" OAL even without the picatinny stock installed, so i believe it is technically legal to use even with just the pistol grip as it is over 26" OAL, someone correct me though if I am remembering wrong or misinterpreting something (I dont intend to use it anyway until I have the remainder of the stock installed).

Ahh, just reminded me that I was suppose to send a payment for the same parts, probably gonna get some rubbery grip tape or something for the front hand guard too.

Highly recommend it. The free included express shipping was also a nice bonus, mine arrived to the other side of the country in 3 business days. All in all, considering taxes and shipping were included for $170, he's basically only charging like $120-$130 for the furniture. Great value. 

Some grip tape is actually a good idea, since the Henry has moving parts in its handguard, any grips have to be mounted closer to the muzzle than I would usually like it to be.

Overall excellent value on this kit. Great guy to deal with too. Super cool to have all aluminum furniture available again, and for such a low price

Just did the same thing last night.

Just to find out the Zhukov I had kicking around won't work because it needs a threaded hole in the pic rail.

So, same boat: now waiting for a stock (and a grip because I don't like the rubberized MDT I had).
