Anybody know what gun his mag would used in? Looks a lot bigger than 5.56-.223 to me.

Well doing fine after they had to replace all of the shitty stocks

Yeah, no clue why they would get something in laminate but also spec stainless for the metal bits.

A lot of the Rangers' jurisdiction is in the Arctic. I didn't live all that far north in Nunavut and daytime ambient temperatures were still consistently -40 or lower in the dead of winter. Lots of the Inuit in the Rangers have had bad experiences with polymer stocks in extremely low temps, because polymer tends to get brittle when it's frozen. Wood can expand and contract with temperature and moisture but generally retains its structural integrity, in addition to being an insulating/warm-touch material.

The stocks delaminating seems to be a Colt Canada QA issue so far, as none of the Tikka-built T3x Arctics I've seen have had delaminated stocks.

Didn't they use the wrong glue to make the laminate? Seems like the kind of thing you'd want a tech transfer from Tikka. Some manager probably trying to cut costs at Colt, wouldn't be the first time.
