Anybody know what gun his mag would used in? Looks a lot bigger than 5.56-.223 to me.

To extend on the point of "you don't need an AR to hunt deer"

The government hiring zew Zealand and american sharp shooters with AR-15's to cull deer on an island in BC, complete with 30 round mags, and suppressors, from helicopter. The program costed millions and many hunters said they would gladly fill extra tags to help the cull, they were denied

If that is true it wasnt an accident just like them not giving the tags to locals so the meat wouldnt get wasted.

Yup and the Gulf Islands are still having an overpopulated deer problem all the way to Haida Gwaii. This Gov’t likes to waste tons of money, point fingers, and make zero sense of anything.

They did the same in western Manitoba a few years ago to help stop the spread of CWD. I’m not sure if they ever released the data from the cull on how many deer may of been infected

Same near Saint Andrews, New Brunswick. Banned ARs then paid foreigners to use suppressed ARs to kill deer destroying the town. All a racket to make money and suppress our freedoms.

Last i checked, the helicopter one was suppressed bren 2 ms rifles, not ar 15s - though im sure there have been contractors using AR15s well in the past.

Fast, but nowhere near AS fast, and with something like that fast is damn near tied for number one priority. Realistically most people can probably squeeze off 7-8rounds from an AR-10 in the time it takes to get 3 out of a lever gun. Some may miss but that’s still way more noise, flash, and potentials holes in Pooh.

Easy to short stroke in a stressful situation. The old adage of manual actions being more reliable is no longer the case with these very tried and tested semi automatic actions available (until they were banned).
