Step 10 seems to vary province to province, based on how busy the CFO of that province is and their own internal policies. It seems to take about 10 business days to process and issue a transfer for a handgun in BC, which is what I experienced. However, this may change as people become more aware of the ways to get an exemption.

I had a private sale that took 4 days, and my other transfer from irunguns is at two weeks and still waiting
