Feets / Collection / My build Thanks for the suggestion

Now with more feeties!

Bought my first gun, a Tikka t3x in 308. Many people I've talked to said your recommendations were on point. Now to look into scopes!

Only problem is there is some dents on the barrel. I know things get banged up and the first scratch it always the hardest to accept, but it sucks getting it pre banged up. What would you do in this situation? It took long enough to get mailed here (form Firearms outlet) and I really like the grain on the stock and I'd hate it if I had to return, wait forever, and get back a new good barrel with lesser stock

Can confirm. After a few Crossfire IIs, I got a Leupold VX Freedom in 6-18x40. A definate upgrade worth the premium.

TBH, I took the plunge at 700$ on sale at Christmas down from 1100, else I might not have. A gamble that I think paid off.

I'll be on the watch again this Christmas and maybe sell a Vortex Crossfire or two to upgrade the fleet.

if you buy it from bass pro, they do a 10% off gift cards during christmas. great way to take even further advantage of any sales they have.
