Feets / Collection / My build Finished shotgun case

Following up my previous post, I finished the custom case for my buddy and his pair of Winchesters. I'm happy with the result, my only gripe is the visible seams in the felt. Of course I was able to find larger sheets of it once I was almost finished the project 🙄

Holy crap, seeing the final results, i gotta say this looks SLEEK. Can you point in the right direction for getting materials and how to make it? I wanna learn more about the process, this looks super nice. Cheers!

Thank you! Happy to help. The original case I found on Facebook marketplace, I'm not sure what it was actually for but I think some kind of musical instrument. Once I get rid of the original interior, I place the guns inside and find a way that they fit nicely, then mark where the dividers need to go.

The dividers are pieces of wood trim from Home Depot, glued into place. I also bought some spray-on Gorilla glue for the felt. Next step is to put the foam in, which is just a dollar store floor-mat that I cut into shapes to fit between the dividers. Finally the felt goes in, which I was able to find for cheap at a local arts and craft store

I use a sharpie and a measuring tape to figure out the shapes I need, and make sure to mark the back of the pieces so you don't see any marks when I glue it down. The last step was the velcro straps which came from Amazon, those I use an epoxy to glue to the case below the foam, then I put the foam back in and pull the straps through.

Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it all. This is simple yet so functional. I'll try that as soon as I find a gun deserving for this treatment. Cheers m8!
