Shitpost / Memes Marlin Model 336 Appreciation Post
Howdy Folks!
The Texan is back with yet another gun appreciation post, this time with something that’s a bit of a classic for you guys. A good ol’ Lever Action, which you can almost never go wrong with, they are truly amazing guns, and I believe that everyone SHOULD have one in their collection.
The particular Lever Action we are looking at today is the Marlin Model 336, a classic .30-30 Winchester rifle that is no nonsense, and it just will run and run like it always does. If you are an avid sports shooter or a hunter, it’s always gonna help get what you need.
If you all have one, feel free to share your experiences with it, because honestly, it’s a great rifle that anyone can gloat or talk about. Or maybe you have a different .30-30 Lever Action like a Henry, and maybe you love that instead, nothing wrong with that either.
Anyways, enough yapping!
Enjoy!

30-30 has put so much food on the table it isn't even funny.
Can't go wrong with it. A timeless classic.

Classically beautiful, and fortunately/unfortunately they don't fall into the category of "scary" looking so should be safe from Poly and the Libs for a few more years.

You cannot go wrong with them, I have a .44 Magnum Rossi Model 92, and that thing is a smooth shooter! Recoil wise it feels like a .30-30, so not too bad.
And when you grab some .44 Special, it feels like you are shooting a .22 LR with slight kick.

I would take an 1894 Winchester as my first pick for a .30-30, but these are a close second. Some very classic lines that have been around a long time, it's cool to see. Rossi's knock offs seem to be doing Ok up here too!
Loved using it in New Vegas with its erroneous chambering (though Rossi brought it to life with their .44 R95 recently).

I want the Rossi in .444 marlin just cause I can’t find a marlin
Have a marlin guide gun in 44 it’s fun and a Winchester 1892 short rifle in .44 it’s fun
