Feets / Collection / My build Ruger 10/22 w/ Archangel AA556R conversion kit

I threw the Archangel AR-15 style conversion kit on my fiancé's Ruger 10/22 yesterday. Overall, pretty straightforward process. Only hiccup was that the mag well on the Archangel needed to be sanded down inside to allow the 10/22 mag to drop. It's a little tight in there so the mag was getting stuck after releasing. Other than that, it was super easy! Threw on the Viridian scope that came with the Ruger Bass Pro deal, and a Magpul vertical grip. Definitely needs higher scope rings because it's literally sitting on the pic rails.😂 Got some pics during the process.

I'd love to do this with my Ruger 10 22. Looks so sick

Not to say the Archangel doesnt work i used to have one but look into crazy Ivan's (looks like creekside custom bought the buiness after Karl passed away) or midwest industries for a better quality product that isnt plastic. CBSA will allow Ivan's chassis' in they just will likely hold it for physical inspection so be prepared to wait a while if you dont bring it in country yourself.

Is it a pain to dismantle when cleaning now? Do you have to rescope each time? Is it easy to load and unload the standard magazine
(obviously it'll be easier with a banana style mag)?

Yup, if you read my post, I do mention that it needs higher set scope rings
