Buy recommendations Just got the 10/22 w scope combo at cabelas… looking to change scope

I just bought the 10/22 with the scope combo and the threaded barrel. I’m not a big fan of shooting with a scope and noticed there no iron sights on the barrel for this version, i would like to add a red dot to it. I’m pretty new to guns and would like some recommendations on a red dot sight also not sure what rail system is on the gun currently.

Sig Romeo 5 or Vortex Spark. Currently the base is a ruger made pic/weaver rail. I recorded degreasing and re torque with blue locktite, careful the reciever strips easily.

The vortex triumph dot, or the newly redone crossfire II red dots would be my choices. Triumph if you wanna stay sub 200 and the new Crossfire IIs if you want a green dot/solar/push buttons and are ok with 280.

Just picked up a triumph yesterday (I think potentially based on a recommendation you made on another post). Tried it and thought it was a shitty optic where the red dot isn’t circular and is “scattered”. Did some research and I now have an appointment with an eye doctor to see if I have astigmatism. lol

Haha i am the same. When i first started selling em i was like "are all these broken?" No its me. Also dont forget i ship free canada wide over 300.

The bushnell RXS-100 was fairly cheap and has worked great for me
