Feets / Collection / My build Ruger American Gen 2 Predator / MDT Oryx Build

Hello degenerates!

Here is my humble long-range rifle build:

- Ruger American Gen II Predator in 6.5 CM
- MDT Oryx chassis in FDE
- MDT vertical grip
- MDT 12-round metal magazine
- Arken EP-5 Gen II 5-25x56 with TOR reticle in mil (just came out, apparently); Arken scope level
- CV Life bipod; just a cheap one from Amazon (25 CAD)

Happy to answer any questions for the sake of ungatekeeping!

Sorry, no feet this time - but you can check out my happy little corner at least.

Cheers!

Have you taken her out yet? What kind of groups with what ammo?

How is the arken? I see that brand pop up but the reviews come off mixed

This is actually my first day with PAL, so I haven’t been able to try it out yet! I will share updates once I do though.

The Arken looks and feels great, but I can’t speak to its tracking performance yet. As long as it is accurate, I don’t think it will frustrate me, considering the relatively lower cost. The TOR reticle is awesome though — it gives you 0.2 mil intervals instead of 0.5.

First day with a pal and you buy a 2.5k long range rifle? I dont like telling people what to do with their money but man...

I think this is a very valid comment for most people, I really see your point.

This is not my first firearm though; it’s just first in Canada. I was also raised by a father who was in Turkish special forces, so I had my fair share of experience with other firearms (a few thousand rounds so far).

Regardless, you make a great point for many first time firearm owners!

I have one on at all times but removed it shortly to take pictures. Thanks for the warning though, I appreciate it!

Nice rigs btw.
