Derya TM22

Does anyone what happened to Derya TM22s in the style like the ones in picture 1? I haven't been on here or looked around at gun stores in about a year. Last year I remember looking at them, was thinking of getting one but never did. Now the only ones I can find are the ones in the 2nd-4th pictures. I personally don't like the one that doesn't have the guard (rail? not actually sure what the proper name is) all the way down the barrel, or the feather. The last picture says it is a Derya TM22 Flash? Does anyone know what is different with that one than the originals in the first photo? Are the ones in the first photo still on the market and I just can't find them?
If any has some info on this, it would be appreciated.

The part number for the types in picture 1 is TM22-18-AL.

Nordic Marksman has one available in white.

The 1st pic and the pro models in 12 and 16 are aluminum (all metal). The exposed barrel on the pro is because the balance shifts a little further back making it easier to swing to different targets and a lot of people like to add those faux/reverse suppressors.

The flash is basically the feather (give or take a screw) and has a full mlok handguard instead of the carry handle. All polymer except the receiver, barrel, and bolt.

If I were buying today I'd get one of the 12" or 16" pro models

Honestly I couldnt tell you, when North Sylva took over the Derya distribution from O'dell, they still had the 18" aluminium ones, and started offering 16". Then they started offering 12 and introduced the flashes and I havent seen hide nor hair of an 18" aluminium or 16" since.

I’m waiting for sfrc to stock the 12 barrels for purchase that or I’ll cough up some money and grab a the new 12” feather and swap barrels to my 16” pro and keep the feather as a spare. I’m pretty sure the internals are all the same? I was also curious if a guy can swap the barrel nut and hand guard and have a somewhat lighter version of the pro might feel front heavy though with aluminum hand guard

Theyve changed so much on these im not 100% sure. I would assume so but i dont want to give bad advice just incase the different trim lines are made with different materials internally or not.

Unfortunately you won’t be able to find the 16” or 18” unless you look for used examples at this point. If you want new, you will have to go for a 12” if you want a brand new model, that includes the feather light. I can’t speak for the flash models but for readily available models you will have to settle for the new 12” pro which honestly is a solid rifle for what it is. I have the 18” but I have also had a good experience with the 12”.

Since sylva took over derya distribution appears there's is only 1 18inch full handguard pro offered now. TM22-PRO-18-BLK DERYA TM22 TM22 PRO BLACK c.22 LR 18". Other pros are the 12 and 16. Could get an 18 in the plastic one. link to sylva and derya list

All the new 'pro' models are the newest all metal options of that original 18" your looking for. Except I haven't seen anyone stock the new 18" pro in months. Only 16s and 12s.

Do you know what is different from the Pro and the original ones back when O'dell was doing distribution? I see the stock looks a little different, but aside from that.

That's all there were a year ago. Aluminum, 18" barrel, full length foreguard, and the plastic Feather.

I'd avoid the plastic receivers.

Try searching Rock Island Armory TM-22.

Edit: nvm. All I'm seeing is RIA (Derya made) Compacts (aluminum, 18" shorter foreguard, hockey stick stock). I have one. It's very good.

SFRC has the flash model (18” barrel) for like $379 right now. In febuary I bought the 18” barrel model for like $500 and then the 16” came out and it dropped considerably.

My guy I've been looking for months (online) since before I even got my PAL, with no luck. I can only find the plastic ones or the 12". There is a white 16" pro somewhere as someone stated, but I just reeeally don't want a white one lol. If anyone knows where to find them, please let me know...
