Firearms on BC ferries??? Need to declare??

Hi. I am going on a hunting trip from prince rupert to skidegate on bc ferries.

Is there a need to declare my firearms as "dangerous goods" when buying my ticket?

This seems like such a hassle and heard from people that they don't even care/check.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Follow the transport regs and keep your mouth shut. There is no situation where they will be checking.
