Here I have an sks-d that was given to me by my dad who had it for many years so of course I was gonna add some stuff to it

Pretty happy with how everything turned out for the gun, shoots nice at 200yards and beyond (400yds is the furthest I’ve been able to hit a target)

Doesn't look like an sks-d trigger group. The mag release isnt right

Could be something else, can’t really tell right now. All I know is it’ll take ak mags only

Might be an M or it's just been modified. D's have an AK style mag release that's welded onto the end of the trigger group. As far as I can tell they utilize the og mag release as the spring.
