I dont know why these fellows who are selling them for dirt cheap dont just strip them and sell them for parts

Lots of people looking for everything minus the frame

And you will get most likey 50% or more of orginal purchase price too

That's because they can't sell them other than to other businesses.

We buy (not that low though) and use at our range and for parts.

Brother, why would you even bother selling them? You know that you will likely never be able to replace them, and are worth almost nothing. It’s a lose-lose situation, just keep them and enjoy shooting/looking at them.

Businesses will pay next to nothing for them. Have a reputable auction house sell them for you. They generally will have international customers so they get higher prices.

There are, but there are also people that have exemptions to the freeze that will most likely pay you more.

Businesses will end up paying less because that then becomes overhead they need to store and pay insurance on until someone comes and buys it.

You can try calling around your local handgun rental ranges.

Remember that pretty typically you'd only get offered like 20% since the business has to mark it up to resell.

Some businesses do offer consignment, which can sometimes be a better price but can take longer.

Since you cannot transfer handguns in Canada anymore, you may be able to find a buyer in the USA and export it, but as far as selling in Canada, pretty sure it's a no go.

You can still transfer handguns in Canada. Just not for generic target shooting and collecting like before. Businesses and such still have full abilities to transfer handguns.

No handgun transfers means no handgun transfers. They will not issue it, you cannot sell. If you can find someone willing to go through the hoops for the Olympic shooting exemption AND convince the CFO you might be able to but otherwise they are yours until you die and then they get destroyed by the police as there is no inheritance provisions.

Business can buy handguns. Transfers are only frozen for individuals. I've transferred several since the freeze.

Transferred to whom and how? Are they LEO? I really don't mind being wrong about this as there are a couple in the safe I wouldn't mind selling. If you are buying handguns, who are you selling them too?

Not true. Transfers still exist, just under stricter circumstances than before. Businesses can transfer handguns very easily.
