Why use a cantilevered mount instead of regular rings?

Sick looking stock. πŸ‘Œ

Because it's cool.

Also, those burris have come up for sale with the mount as a package deal a few times from retalers. They were very affordable.

Gotta piss with the cock you got, or something like that.

Looking cool is a valid reason; that's why I still accessorize my AR. πŸ˜†

Your WHAT!!!!!111!!!!! I think we need to have a discussion about you having possession of a weapon of mass destruction that is DEFINITELY NOT MEANT FOR POP CANS OR GOPHERS/s

I went from a 15" black handguard, to a 11.5" DARK FDE HANDGUARD.

Invisible to NV, and way faster for greater violence! The sexier looks will mog the cops so hard because they don't even have FF handguards on their outdated C8 carbines.

I've already dry-fired it in the last 5-6 years more than it's been live-fired. Geissele triggers are the only acceptable solution for LARPing at home in a thong. πŸ‘Œ

Any opinions on Muzzle breaks for a 45-70 ? I am considering one but i can't find any reliable feed back on the ratio of recoil / noise

The ranger point comet works surprisingly well. However, It's still 45-70. Don't think you can tame it down to .223 levels.

I was considering it, the recoil by itself is alright, the considering factor is that the cheek riser from the stock is hard plastic so the kick isn't really comfortable on the cheek bone

That looks really niceΒ

Also what furniture is that?

It is the midwest industry stock with the midwest extended picatinny handguard, i added the ammo quiver and spare round holder
