Buy recommendations Is there speed loaders for 597 mags?
I’m running a 10/22 with a 597 mag adapter. I’d like to find a hopper speed loader instead of just a “thumb saver” style.
I found the McFadden lightin loader that looks nice but it’s from the states and probably costs a ton to get here.
Is there maybe a 10/22 loader I can use the adapter in?
I’d appreciate any suggestions on how I can save my thumbs

You can force our adapter into the butler creek 10/22 mag loader. That's how I load them.

No idea. I bought mine 18 years ago when I got my first 10/22.

I haven't found one in Canada yet, but there are a couple of 3D printable ones.

I ended up ordering a Champion range and target magazine loader from thegundealer.ca. It just came in today and loaded 4 597 mags with no issue.

Does that require taking out the adapter each time? Mines a bitch to put in and take out

There are a few pretty well designed thumb style ones. Have zero issue loading 30rd ones.

Good to know! I ended up getting the maglula for 10/22 from my LGS. Hopefully it's all gravy with the adapter.

Speed beez 10/22 speed loader works with the SBI 597 adapter, ordered late last week and arrived today so not bad coming from the states.

I use the Speed Beez loader for my 10/22 mags. You might be able to use it with the 10/22 adapter
