Milsurps / Prohib GNG Surplus

Just purchased a K31 from GNG surplus. For those who have purchased from them, what was the wait time for them to process and ship your rifle? Sent them payment and pal info already.

Thanks

I just checked in my e-mail and it looks like I ordered on a Thursday night and it shipped the following Wednesday. This was in 2024.

The gun I bought turned out to be a bit of a dud but that’s luck of the draw buying used guns I guess.

What gun did you buy and what made it a dud?

Brno Model 2 in .22lr, best I could get out of 6 or 7 different ammos I tried was 4-5 MOA at 50m, some were more like 8 MOA. I spent multiple range trips over several months trying to figure out the issue, looked at the scope/rings, bedding of the stock, the barrel crown etc. Most people I talked to suggested I needed to try more kinds of ammo or suggested that maybe its the shooter. My local gun store took the rifle and shot it themselves and they had the same problem, no suggested solution.

In the end I cast some soft lead slugs and pushed them through the barrel to get an accurate measurement of the bore, became obvious when I did that that the bore was larger at the muzzle end... not good for accuracy. No idea how that would have happened, it's nearly impossible to shoot out a .22lr barrel.

If you read the terms and conditions on the GNG site that's way outside their guarantees and I don't have anything against them. I listed it for sale as a parts gun and got most of my money back and then went out and bought a brand new CZ 457.
