Meet up Black powder at EESA

Hi everyone. Just wondering if any of you shoot black powder at East Elgin Sportsmens Association. I recently picked up a black powder rifle, but have never fired one and neither have any of my friends. Is there a day when people get together? I wouldn't mind a few pointers. Thanks!

Not near east elgin but I can give some tips and such if interested.

Not specifically. I've been there for about 6 years now and i've only ever seen one person use one. You could always email the board to perhaps send out an APB on their next newsletter to get into contact with other members that are willing to help you out.

I've had the same experience, it's been rare. I think it's more popular at Crumlin. Thanks for the tip!

I know a guy who goes to EESA,  who black powder hunts who I can set you up with. I assume with this guy you’ll have to be prepared to go real early morning

It's a Parker Hale 1861 Enfield musketoon.
