How long does it normally take to receive your item once you initiate a purchase on the US IRG? Does it take a while for all the paperwork and approvals go through?

About 2 months or so until you get it.

IRUNGUNS exports to Canada on a structured monthly cycle:

Export Window Opens: 16th of each month

Export Window Closes: 15th of the following month at 5:00 PM (Mountain Time)

After the window closes, our team completes:

Order processing & packaging

Export permit filings

Coordination with regulatory agencies

Shipments are delivered to our Canadian facility approximately 45 days after the window closes (subject to regulatory approvals and transport conditions).

Updated Example Timeline

Orders placed June 16 – July 15 → Arrival late August / early September

Orders placed July 16 – August 15 → Arrival late September / early October

Orders placed November 16 – December 15 → Arrival February (No January import cycle)

Canadian Warehouse Processing

Once shipments arrive in Canada, please allow 7–10 business days for:

That means you use it while you still can. The more people that use it the harder it is to end the program or change the regulations. It also means less strict enforcement like in Quebec and Ontario. They would have to change the federal law.
