I remember the days serving our great Nation, the many times some asshole groundhog decides to poke his head up on the range, during a c6 shoot and ruins the afternoon. Zero sense of self preservation. I'm jealous of the majesty lol.

Last time I was doing sporting clays the local birds were weaving in and out of the shooting areas. Wildlife, man.

Reminds me of a time I was shooting clays at my range and for whatever reason I just flinched on one clay and didn't shoot and at the exact same time a giant bird (osprey or eagle) swooped down from the trees and broke the clay in its talons and flew off. That flinch saved my ass a giant fine lol.

So does this count as a hit? Guess you just have to shoot somewhere in the vicinity of it. "Target shot at, target broken, hit counted"... nevermind the giant bird that broke it.

I posted a turkey story elsewhere here . They are a danger to themselves there. Absolutely oblivious.

Couldn't help but laugh as it stumbled on the road behind me after I pulled my a300 from the case

I was on range 5 yesterday. My only company was wasps.

I saw that in The log book 😂

I damn near blasted a turkey once. I was dialed in on a high zoom and this dick was just walking along the target line, absolutely unconcerned that he was heading into a volley. He's lucky my mag needed changing cos he was at the very next target stand when I noticed him.

I was at the range a few weeks ago and a bear wanders onto the berm!

Aye. God's gun range.
I wish they could swing a 150 or 200 m gallery though.

That would be pretty great

Our range has bunnies and gophers, and they’re all extremely deaf… because they’re not wearing their hearing protection…

Everytime I see wildlife wandering down range, I'm reminded of the Ameglian Major Cow 👌
