Feets / Collection / My build Not quite traditional, not quite tactical
Some may wonder why get a 1913-style Hush stock and then slap a buffer tube on it, I just really like AR stocks man

Do you have any complaints or recommendations aboutt this setup. I love traditional sks but I have an open mind im just scared because so many of the bubba Frankensteins impacted the rifle negatively. Can it still be field stripped? do the magazines cause jams? Is there any play in the buttstock? Does the optic hold zero?

For fieldstripping and holding zero, the top rail is a Magwedge. It mounts over top the cover and they provide a pin to replace the stock one with, if you use that pin it's very fieldstrippable because you just pull it out which is what's holding the cover/Magwedge. Then the rail pivots upwards and away to get at the bolt, and then to reassemble you pivot it back and reinsert the pin through the rail and the cover, zero holds perfectly well with this design.
In terms of stock rattle, I'm using the 1913 rail Hush stock variant as well as my own buffer tube 1913 adapter design which mounts on incredibly securely and gets attached with two cross bolts. No rattle at all, the folding Ruger-style stock that the Hush usually comes with rattles a significant amount however so be warned.
And then for magazine jamming, these are Tapcos which were really hit and miss for reliability. The ones I've got still lying around work pretty well but that's because I've gotten rid of all the ones that didn't. I don't know how well the currently available aftermarket ones work since Tapcos aren't really available but maybe someone else can chime in on that.

Im gonna to remember your build as one of the few rare bubbas that work well and look good doing it.

I've been a big fan of them as well since MW2 AK's. They just work, and thats exactly what i want my stocks to do. Also, am not a fan of folders in general.
Where did you order yours from? All i've seen here in Canada have been the folder models.

Ordered the picatinny version direct from Hush and then slapped my own Picatinny to AR tube adapter on it. Interesting that we're only getting the folders here, might try making a picatinny adapter for the stock if that's the case because those folders just ain't it.

How much did that end up costing you? (i.e. shipping, any additonal customs/duties) Because i actually wanted to get the nylon version that no-one has here

At the time it was around 300USD with shipping, no duties other than local taxes and associated processing fees because they shipped it as CUSMA. I think they've decreased the price since then however
