Misc C21 exemption in Ontario?

I've seen tons of posts about BC and AB, but does anyone know how to go about getting one in ON?

In Ontario, it's:

  1. Join SFC and ONTarget
  2. Borrow gun (ha! if possible ...)
  3. Shoot a sanctioned match or more
  4. Apply to SFC for an exemption

The sanctioned match, it's through SFC or ONTarget? How do I become part of a sanctioned match? I'd actually love to get into competitive shooting as a long term thing.

Matches are posted on OnTargets site: https://ontariotarget.ca/index.php/events/

As per the site: “For your participation to be part of a 'sanctioned' match, you must have joined The Shooting Federation of Canada (federal organization) AND ONTarget (provincial organization).”
