The point is to build hype. I mostly agree with you anyways, but this rifles been around for a few years in the US. There's already videos on YouTube of it, the only difference is the barrel length and maybe the grip and lack of MBUS.

They've never done me dirty, personally their CS has been stellar, over a multitude of purchases, including backorders.

I'm gonna spend that money anyway. I'm fine with gambling it on store credit.

I ordered mine from tenda... apparently, the deposit is refundable... not sure if they'd take it back if I decided I just didnt like it.

Obviously not. Thats asking a lot for them to refund you on a gun you've shot unknown amount of rounds through just because you decided you didn't like it. The refund option everyone (except rdsc) is offering is just peace of mind that you will be refunded if you dont recieve the rifle because of government bans.

I'm pretty sure firearms are final sale at Tenda and most stores - but yes I seem to recall the deposit was refundable.

Make sure that the slot for the gas block adjustment is set vertical, perpendicular to the ground; as I commented in the link below, I have confirmed there was an error in the original manual with Brigade Arms, that vertical is for Unsuppresed. If you have it in suppressed mode, it will not have enough gas to cycle without a non-flow through suppressor. https://www.reddit.com/r/canadaguns/comments/1u488g7/makasi_gas_system_settings/

Why could Brigade lengthen the handguard just a wee bit? Our 18.7" barrels look so goofy with the short handguards, not to mention being a burn hazard.
