If they were smart they'd be posting ads where the "operator" is dressed like Elmer Fudd, and taking some slow controlled shots at some paper 50 yards away on a well lit outdoor range in the middle of nowhere. Make it extra fuddy for the lols.

With this they can just superimpose Provost shaking her head reacting to this video and use it as their next propaganda video. Won't even need a writers or a narrator..

So let's just make the legal gun owner community out to look like a bunch of larping Rambo wannabes and make sure anyone who was on the fence about the gun grab before starts agreeing with the "hunters and sport shooters don't need these" trope.

(I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a bit of larping, but maybe we shouldn't broadcast it right into the laps of the people holding our rights hostage?)

Negative opinions based on bad press are a lot harder to change than OICs and legislation. And at least Provost and all those cunts holding up signs and whining about loopholes looks a little batshit to anyone with basic reasoning skills. Cosplaying Call of Duty while showing off a new rifle to millions of people is just begging for more negative press.

It's not like this is some home recording of a range session that will get buried in the YouTube feed. This is paid advertising, meant to reach as far as possible to anyone who pays attention to Canadian gun culture.

Like why not post a video bump firing the homesteader from the hip in a reanactment of a scene from a James Bond movie next.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I love a good LARP myself, but I totally agree with you. Now's not the time to be filming yourself doing it to sell a hotly debated new product.
