Feets / Collection / My build Clever girl...
I wanted to have a SPAS 12 which is obviously banned, and god knows ill never find a Franchi PA7 or a Remington 870 police with an original folding stock anytime soon in Canada. So I settled with what was close enough.
Also I didn't want to get the Maverick 88 with ATI Shotforce because the thing looks like cheap polymer.
These 2 have sturdy solid aluminum frames with a nice rubber buttpad for the stock.
Hatsan Escort Aimguard TFS and Mossberg 500 Tactical with Choate top folding stock and picatinny foregrip.
ALSO I KNOW A TOP FOLD IS NOT IDEAL BECAUSE THE STOCK CAN SMACK YOU IN THE FACE WHEN SHOOTING

What's the OAL for these? A Shockwave with a 14.5" barrel has OAL of 26.4" (670mm)
18.5" barrel puts you at 470mm..
It's been a long week, I'm struggling with the math in my head but how many inches away are these from being Restricted (Firearms designed or adapted to be fired when reduced to a length of less than 660 mm by folding, telescoping or otherwise)

I also looked into doing this mod with the 590 Shockwave but the OAL was below the limit so it would be considered Restricted. This ones OAL is just above the limit at 28.5 inches folded. The shockwave having a 14 inch barrel would put it under the limit when folded compared to the 500 with an 18.5 inch barrel.

Gotta say, overfolders look pretty sweet and are pretty fun, even if some are a little rough for a cheek weld. As someone who has a pistol grip for my Maverick, kind of neat to be able to go back and forth from having a stock to not with the push of a button too honestly!

You should probably get the ATI shotforce its still about $100 to add a decent foldable stock to your Maverick

You carefully unfold the stock like Muldoon every time, don't you?
