Gun and gear reviews Need a sight tool for my sks, anyone have experience with Mag Wedge?

This one specifically, has anyone used this and can speak on the quality or function? My sks does not shoot straight because I currently don't have anything to adjust it and would like to get it shooting true

I've bought a sight leaf from Mag Wedge and it was well made. There's cheaper options on Amazon for a sight adjusting tool, but you gonna file a bit off it to fit - that's what I did

Only takes a couple minutes. You just file until it clears the circular ring around the front sight.

Overpriced you can find AK tools for very cheap and they'll do the same thing.

Yeah, just need to file away a corner on the opening on the AK tool so it sits flush with the wider front sight protector on the SKS. Otherwise it slips easily.

I got mine from Amazon for $15.

Nice, I just grabbed this Birchwood Casey one for 15$ on Amazon as well. Can you show me a photo of where you filed?

This post shows it very well:

Otherwise the tool won't fit and will just slip off easily.

I just use a punch and hammer

AK tool is smaller to carry to the range over a punch and hammer.
