Buy recommendations Talk me out of buying a Rossi RS22
I already have an anschutz chambered in 22mag and the thing is under $300, seeing as you can get 25 round mags for them and from what I’ve heard they’re pretty accurate it seems like a fun plinker… I’m feeling pretty tempted after seeing a video Neumann metalworks posted of him mag dumping his the other day, is there something I’m missing about these, any reason they’re not more popular?

They're a Mossberg plinkster in a different chassis. Same with the semi auto Citadel Trakrs. They can both take the 25 round 702 plinkster mags.
I had a Trakr and now have a RS22M (the wmr version). They're both great guns. If you want a more tactical look you should get a Trakr, but you have to modify the Magwell a bit to fit the plinkster mags (just remove some plastic thats in the way).
They both will fit into Plinkster aftermarket chassis.
Edit: I just realized you're talking about the 22 mag version which I have lol. I'm gonna leave the info up above here for anyone curious about the .22LR version.
RS22M are not popular cause the distributors don't import them much, or their mags. Kinda nuts considering they sell out like right away. 10 round mags are hard to come by, and 25 rounds are basically non-existent (in Canada at least.)

Ahhh I see now. The version I was looking at was 22LR which is why it was so cheap. Can’t find the WMR version anywhere except for one used one in a wooden stock that makes it way more expensive, bummer.

Wood stock new seems around 700 and 550 for a polymer. Still a solid choice, and a hell of a lot more fun that .22LR (in my opinion).

Also the RS22M Delta, the tacticool model that has an NR FRT. I even shot an email off to Gravel to see if and when they would import them since they submitted the rifle for testing I believe.

Maybe the 22mag models are better, but I have a few in 22lr and I get at least 3-4 failure to feeds per magazine, even after trying a bunch of the 10 round and 25 round.

I would think twice before buying anything coming from Brazil. Brands like Rossi and Taurus have gone to shit after been acquired by CBC. I'm from Brazil and shot some guns of both brands.

I'm tempted too. Though I want the short little barrels for it! Like a 16 or 14.5. Maybe I can add that latter
25 rounds of 22mag looks to be lots of fun and I dig the ranch rifle look.
You definitely need to get one... I will be too!!!
