Misc Rainy day goofing around
Why not do some improvising? Introducing my redneck brass catcher. I'll be trying it out on the Derya nine millimetre, as well as the TM22 and some lever action guns soon.

Might cause then bass to bounce back into the action. If that's the case, I'll remove the black lid and install the toe section of an old sock with another rubber band. 😆 Maybe it'll work ok on one or two guns as is.

How well does this rifle actually run for you?

Flawless so far with 3 types of ammo. I've only fired about 200 rounds. Simple action, so I think it'll make a nice range toy for occasional use, which was my intention. Fun gun, for a budget price. And I like peep sights so this is my kind of gun. I may take the cheap reflex sight off it.

Does the action lock or have a slide release when closed like a shotgun? Saw a video online and looked like a bitch to rack considering how small it is.

No lock/release. Mine seemed pretty tight off the start, but has already improved a LOT. Also, I have not disassembled or cleaned it, other than removing excess factory lube. The action is goid. Not gritty or sloppy.

I will. And I'm definitely anticipating some issues with bounce back. If it happens a lot, I plan to remove the jar lid and put the toe section of an old sock on it, fastened with another rubber band. That should get me a few more redneck style points. 😁
