Feets / Collection / My build Picked up a 14" M590A1. What a tank!
Was in the market for something compact, versatile, and easily reachable in the truck or the bedroom. Settled on this monster, as usual I am excited and the wife is filing the divorce papers.

Yeah I looked into doing the same, but it was 699 for the shockwave and another 180 for the stock, figured for 100 more I got ghost ring sights and speed feed stock just made sense.

My first firearm was a 590A1 black water and I got it for somewhere in the $700 ranges
I still own it.

Love the 14" shotgun! It's the perfect length. I've never shot with a speedfeed stock, are there any cons to it? Shells hanging up, difficulty in access, beard getting caught in the ports...?

I've heard that they are hard to get out if you double the rounds in each side, but haven't really tested that notion yet. I'll keep you posted soon as I take her out

Definitely a bit tough to get them out tbh. Single rounds in each side is much easier to manage.

Never had it happen to mine despite firing basically every kind of ammo through it, but apparently some people have issues with occasional shells falling out when firing higher recoil ammo.

I agree, something special about a 14 inch pump gun. Perfect compact size and still decent capacity

Can you leave the gun in the truck all the time tho? Would it be considered storing than transporting?
