Feets / Collection / My build Filled my first ever gun safe!

So after getting my PAL not too long ago, I was lucky enough to score a decent storage setup at a reasonable price for my babies. And the safe is finally full and im feeling very proud of what is the beginning of my collection.

All im missing now is to get a pump action 12 GA (Mossberg 500 or Remington 870) and a bolt action .308 (Savage 110, Howa 1500 or Remington 700) ill be golden.

Although its not perfect and after seeing some of your collections, mine feels very budget tier. A true gun cabinet for the poors. I still really wanted to share with those who might appreciate the start of a beginners collection.

1st pic is the whole setup

2nd pic is the rifle bay

3rd pic is the ammo storage

4th pic in the comments is the outside of the locker

Get a tikka for your bolt action .308 you won’t be disappointed… I highly reccomend a lever .357 or .44 mag just for fun too. Nice collection

Levers are what got me into it shooting so fun.. iron sights and smiles all day. The .357 / .38 special is fun the 30/30 is awesome the 45/70 just is amazingly awesome

The sakos are the nicest but the tikka is pretty hard to complain about

Get some airtight ammo cases and some silica packs (collect these fuckers trust me) throw one or two in the safe and some in every ammo container, will keep ur shit dry no rusties

Ive been stuffing all the loose silica packets in the rifle cases behind the locker since those don't have a dehumidifier but within the locker itself I have a goldenrod going

Sad FPC :(

How are you liking the golden rod? Do you find it helping you?

I live in a very high humidity area, so lately ive been noticing alot of stuff rust, and i dont want the same fate for these puppies so this has been a preventive measure so far. I unfortunately cant report beyond that as this pic was taken as of me setting it up.

But I can say that my research has shown that its the most reliable dehumidifier you can get that you wont have to bother refilling/recharging.

Is that a KR22? If so, how are you liking it so far?

Indeed it is! It was so cheap I was curious what a tacticool 22 can do at this price. Haven't had a chance to play with it yet unfortunately

Please don’t confuse this with a safe, it’s simply a gun locker. It lacks many of the safety and security features of a safe.

You are correct, my mistake, my first locker
