Fix my gun Homesteader

Anyone have a henry Homesteader? I fuckin stripped the front screw for thr forearm and couldn't help but notice hoe god damn tight it was. In the end its most definitely my fault, just want to know if its all in my head.

Mine wasn’t super tight when I changed out the handguard and it screwed back in and has been good since.

Sounds like I just used the wrong size bit.

Invest in a torqued screw driver. Was a life savior for my mental health.

Maybe. I think it’s a 5/32 Allen head if I remember correctly
