Fix my gun Bolt Group Issue

Found a piece of my SBI LPC bolt carrier, about as big as a finger nail clipping, in my trigger group while cleaning it after a range day.

Picture is of the BCG damaged.

Is it still safe to fire or is the BCG compromised?

The piece you’re holding doesn’t appear too damaged- have you inspected the rest of the chamber and BCG? Surely a fingernail sized piece can’t come from nowhere, but maybe it was just a chunk of carbon?

If you look in the middle, there is a slightly darker area about a quarter of the inner circle is gone. It didn’t crumble like carbon either. It’s metal
