Ruger American Scout in 5.56 in Canada?

Anybody in-the-know know if we're gonna be getting the Ruger American Gen 2 Scout in 5.56 in Canada this year?

I know the .308 showed up last week. Curious if we'll get other models as well.

How recent was this? I've only see the Glenfield variants, which has the same colour stock but not the scouts.

It's really a shame the M77 scout was dropped for the american series scout. At least the american scout will be less than 1000 bucks... right?

Last time I looked the .308 version was about $920 or so, if I remember right

Since the .308 model was going for $1200 I doubt it haha.

I could have gone either way for the M77 scout, but since I have an LPVO now the American Gen 2 Scout actually works for me better over the Gunsite.

There was a dealer in Calgary that had the 556 models on gunpost. Sold out now, I’d expect them to start showing up soon
