Buy recommendations MAS 49

I've seen a few 49/56's floating around EE but never a 49. What does the chat think, is it a buy? How much should be a good price? Don't think there's too much demand for them since French gun is rather niche?

The demand would be there, but the cost is just too high. It is by far the best military surp semi auto in Canada (don't hate me - I also own a Garand). Lighter than the Garand, more accurate than the SKS, etc., plus mag fed.

I'd go with the 49/56.

what do you consider a going or attractive price? (not sure if you could mention that here anymore?)
