News / Politics / Activism Carney responds to calls for stricter gun control: 'We need a multifaceted approach'

Agreed, meanwhile, we also need car control, social media control, real estate housing control, and so on and so forth. Since lack of multi facet approach has caused substantial deaths through the years due to ineffective enforcement and loopholes in the system.

In fact, let's start with tighter knife control first because there were

2014 Calgary stabbing

2020 Quebec city stabbing

2021 North Vancouver stabbing

2022 Saskatchewan stabbing

2024 Ottawa stabbing

Last year 2025 Hollow Water First Nation stabbing.

And then the Burnaby RCMP Constable fatally stabbed in the line of duty in Oct 2022.

A multi faceted approach indeed.

I'll chime in and say that the only PP media i see is put on YouTube by conservatives and I loathe him. He's slimy, condescending, and intellectually dishonest.

Trudeau was somewhat less slimy, but completely dishonest.

I would vote for Harper in a second.

I would vote for Chretien or Martin if there was better controls for corruption.

Carney seems okay, but very hemmed in by the party.

I'd suggest you start interacting with the Liberals platform instead of functioning on vibes.

Are you a fan of your guns? Liberals are taking them away.

Are you a fan of personal privacy? Not for long with c22 and digital identification. Can't wait for those leaks.

Do you like proper wages and the ability to strike? Cause they're working away at that. We saw a preview with air Canada already.

How about using some banned pesticides? Cause now they can green light that. Monsanto train woo!

How about a balanced budget? Best we can do is a recession and a massive deficit.

Do you want to own a house or hope for your kids to move out and start their own families? Not happening with the constant immigration programs combined with corporate bailouts for condo companies.

How do you feel about the justice system? Because they've literally done nothing to stop the revolving door of bail + activist judges.

But yeah I guess Carney presents well and makes great promises. Just judge him by the price of your groceries and bills.

In fact, just judge them by their actions and not just what CBC promotes / Twitter clips.
